The aim of this section is to gather as much genealogical information as
possible on families connected with the town, however distant, so if you
would like a link to your own site, a list of the names you are researching
put here, a plea for help posted or to have your work made available on this
site to assist others please get in touch.
Many thanks to the people who have donated material already but we always
want more so that the site will grow into a truly useful source of
information / reference for anyone researching families in or from Rishton.

I have broke this section up in several ways -
- Church Records. Found in the
Churches
section of the site, these include any birth records, death records,
cemetery records, and marriage records that I have so far.
- Census Records. All the census records together in
one place for Rishton only. Found under
Censuses.
- Directory Listings. These include any directories
that have been complied about Rishton, including Barrett's, Manex, and
Kelly Directories. These are found under the
Directories Section of the site.
